Introduction
On Request Hotels feature allows website admins to upload the hotels outside of the GDS directly into the system.
These hotels will be set on the website level, so every travel group will have access. This feature can be used for corporate and leisure.
Note: If you're interested in this feature activation, please, contact Thomalex support team.
When the On Requestfeature is activated, the new menu entry will become available within the website admin panel:

Setup
Upon the feature activation, when no hotels are uploaded to the system, when the administrator opens the On Request Hotels tab, the option to add the hotel will appear:

Note: When hotels are uploaded to the system, when the administrator opens the On Request Hotel tab, the list of all uploaded hotels will show.
When the administrator hits the "Add a Hotel" button, the below screen will appear:

The administrator can set all the information about the hotel.

| Deposit | If enabled, the hotel will require a deposit when making the payment. The booker will be advised on the shopping cart about the total amount of the deposit. Payment must be made with the credit card if a deposit is set. If the payment gateway is enabled, a deposit will be charged right away and if not, a remark will be sent, so the agent will know that he should charge the deposit. |

Note: You can add as many hotels as you need following the same procedure.
Once all the information is entered and the hotel is saved in the system, the administrator will be able to add hotel rooms.

In the room tab, you can create the room and enter all the necessary information regarding the room.

Note: You can add as many rooms to the hotel following the same procedure.
Once all the room details are entered and the room is saved in the system, the administrator will have the ability to define the price per room.

In the Room Rate pop-up module, the administrator can define the rates per room OR guest for the specific date range.

Note: You can define multiple room rates for the same room depending on the criteria following the same procedure.
How to use it
Once the hotel, room, and room rates are created, the traveler will be able to see the On Request hotel in their search results. In the results, you will get hotels that have rates in the time range that you have searched for.
- The hotel search results, page will display the room category that is the cheapest per night. The system takes into consideration all categories in all rooms for a specific hotel.
- When you select a hotel then you will be on the page where you should pick a room, there you will see room prices depending on the category, which is displayed as the sum of the nights that you are going to spend in the hotel. All categories that you have defined for specific room will be displayed. rooms

Note: In case that you are using OnRequest hotel for leisure, we have option to Use Parent Web Site On Request Hotel Inventory, which can be enabled by the system administrator and then all affiliate site will be able to use inventory of their parent site.
