Introduction


This article will explain the functionality that agencies can use to issue tickets through Thomalex. This option is available for both parts of the Thomalex system, corporate and leisure.


Setup


NOTE: The ticketing through Thomalex works only if two conditions are met:

1. The internet Office Id and PNR Settings Office ID must be the same:

2.The ticketing must be enabled for your Internet (web servicies) Office Id. The agency should check with their Account Manager if ticketing is enabled for their Office ID.


If the two mentioned conditions are met, you need to enable GDS ticketing in the website settings:

How to use it


When the GDS ticketing is enabled, under the Booking tab you can find a reservation that is created. When you click on the Options button, you will have an additional option to Ticket PNR:

After you click on Ticket PNR you will get the popup window.

There will be two options to be selected. The first one is manual commission which will override automatic commission which is created during the creation of the reservation. You can specify either the exact amount or percentage for creating the manual commission. When you enter it, click on Ticket PNR.


NOTE: In some cases overriding automatic commission with manual commission will not be possible depanding on the airline.

The second option is an option to issue tickets without Creating a Commission element in GDS, which means that the system will use a commission that is created automatically when the reservation is created and it will issue tickets. We advise you to use the second option, to use automatic commission and issue tickets. So you need to check this option and then click on Ticket PNR.


When the tickets are Issued successfully the status of the reservation will be changed to E-ticketed and you will have information about the ticket number:
