Introduction
This article covers the basics of creating a B2C website.
To proceed with creating a B2C website, click on a customer for whom you want to create a website:

Then, hover your pointer over the "Websites" tab and select the "New Website" button from the drop-down menu:

Creating a New B2C Website
The website settings that you accessed present the most comprehensive part of any Thomalex system's set of settings.
Before finishing the creation of a B2C website, note that a number of mandatory settings will be required to be entered before saving the newly created configuration.
The first step requires that the appropriate "Type" is selected, with the two options available, you can specify between a "Parent" or "Child (Affiliate)" website.
Parent Websites present a Main Brand Website.
Child/Affiliate Websites present an affiliate branch operating under the main brand (parent website)

Here is an example of the populated first part of the new website creation panel below the following image there will be all mandatory fields and their explanation:

Setting Name | Description |
Corporation Name | Specify the Name of the Website |
Unique Website URL | Create a URL that will be used for logging in to the newly created website |
Language | Select the Language that will be used for the new website |
Internet OID | Enter the primary Office ID/PCC that will be used as the main Office ID/PCC to connect and perform searches. Note - Thomalex Agents and Customers are allowed to create a website with the "MIA1S21AV" (Amadeus), "5YAI" (Sabre), or "B9V" (Travelport) which all present a testing Office ID/PCCs. |
As you scroll down you will be presented with the more necessary information that needs to be specified:

Setting Name | Description |
Currency | Select the currency to be used for creating bookings |
Contact Person | Enter the contact person's information |
Email Address | Enter the contact person's email information |
Address1 | Enter agencies address |
Country | Select the country where the agency is located |
City | Enter the name of the City where the agency is located |
PNR Settings | Specify the PNR settings as well as queues and categories. |
Time Window | Enter the number of hours that will be used as a Ticketing Time Limit reference |
Booking Email From Address | Specify the email address that will be used to send the booking confirmation notifications Note - Make sure to whitelist the address you specify as "Booking from email address" to prevent the notifications from ending up in Junk/Spam folders. All required information can be found on this page. |
The next part of new website creation consists of "Air Settings" as well as the specification for the website environment (Production or Test)

Agency Email | Enter the official agency email that will receive all booking notifications |
Web Service Provider | Select from the drop-down menu the GDS of your choice |
Web Services Customer ID | Enter the pre-created Customer's Backend Name |
Web Service User ID | Confirm the same input of the Customer's Backend Name |
Web Service System | Chose between Test and Production Environments |
Web Service Password | Enter the pre-created Customer's Backend password |
Important Note - It is highly recommended that "Web Service Provider", "Web Services Customer ID", "Web Service System", as well as the "Web Service Passowrd" do not to be changed and managed by the customer alone.
As stated in the table above, such information is created by Thomalex agents in the back end of system's configuration, and changing these settings on your own will make the booking engine stop working and display search results.
Always make sure to consult with Thomalex Support team before managing any of the mentioned information on your own.
If any customer is in need of a testing website. The information that can be used to specify the "Web Service Provider", "Web Services Customer ID", "Web Service System", as well as the "Web Service Passowrd" is the following:
Customer ID - Thomalex
Web Service User ID - Thomalex
Web Service System - Select "Test"
Web Service Password - "thefalls"
The last required information to be selected is "Site Customization" which will present the language of the booking engine and the language in which the options will appear during the booking flow.
As well as the "Agency Terms Name" which will be a designator for the name of your terms and conditions that will appear at the bottom of the shopping cart.
Under "Agency Terms URL" you are able to specify the link to your agency's terms and conditions that are located on your official website. By clicking on the hyperlinked part of the text located at the bottom of the shopping cart the terms of conditions of working with your company will be presented.

Customers will have to agree to the terms before completing the reservation.

At last, finish the website creation by selecting the "Save" button at the end of the website creation settings:

The website that you just created will be presented in the new window. Proceed by selecting the "Site Selection" button from this view:

As you can see the newly created website is now presented as the website available to be used in your "Site Selection Menu"

To finilize the B2C Website setup, you should procede on establishing Payment Options as well as create Administratior (User) accounts.
To access the booking tool of your newly created website click on the "B2C Site"Image no.12 B2C Site Button Location
After selecting "B2C Site", you will be able to access the newly created websites' Administration settings as well.

Note - The administration part of your website's configuration consists of Travel Group Settings, Air Travel Settings, Car Travel Settings, Hotel Travel Settings as well as Payment Options and Provider Exclusion Settings that should also be set to your companies preferences after finishing a new website creation.
