Power Employee


Note that the travel group administrator cannot give this right, all other administrators can.


To give the right to the user to be a Power employee, log in as an administrator, navigate to the Travel Group then List Employees and Edit Employee to provide this right:

This can be done only manually and for a specific employee. There is no "Power employee" column in the upload file.


What Power Employees can do?


In short, a power employee is a dedicated person within the company who has the right to manage, change and approve the reservations when an approver is not available.


Log in as a Power employee, and notice that you have two additional tabs, that are displayed only to the Power employee.  


These are "View all Bookings" and "Manage All Approvals"

In the "View All Bookings" tab, Power employee sees all bookings that were created on the Corporate level. Also, a power employee is able to change the "Approval Pending" person and assign the booking to the other approver, he can do this on Manage All Approvals as well.


A power employee needs to click on "Approval Pending" and a new pop-up window will be opened both on View All Bookings and Manage All Approvals In this drop-down, the power employee can choose any approver that belongs to the corporation:

Change of the approver will be recorded in History. Once you click on the History button, the new approver will get an e-mail and when he logs in he will see the booking that he needs to approve on his view.

The previous approver doesn't see the booking on his view, once when the booking is reassigned. 

The approval pending remark will be updated, once when the booking is reassigned.


Manage All Approvals - On this tab, Power employees can see all bookings that are in Pending status. Here Power employees can approve, reject or cancel the booking like he is the approver.


Once when Power employee approves the booking (cancel or reject), the booking is removed from the "Manage All Approvals" list and from the approver's view. It can be found on the "View all bookings" tab. 

Changes are recorded in History. Remarks will be updated.
