Introduction
Matrix display management is a functionality dedicated to Travel Agencies for creating Fare Families for specific itineraries according to specific rules, that administrator defines when creating a fare family.
This option can only be accessed by any type of administrator (organization, customer, site), and also by a travel group administrator.
To access it use the following path:
Corporate Site → Edit Travel Group → Matrix Display Management on the left side

Matrix Display Management
Once the tab has been selected the wizard to create Matrix display management will be in place.
Start creating the Itinerary by clicking on the "Create Itinerary" button:

Create itinerary option can be used to create all itineraries that will be applied to a particular travel group. If there are no itineraries created the list will be empty.
Itineraries can be Cloned, Edited, or Deleted.
Once the option is selected, the new wizard to create Matrix Itenirery will open up:

Here is an example of creating a route for fare matrix display for North America - North America. (Regions can be created in Create Region codes wizard).
The route can be created by Region, By Country, or by Cities.
The administrator can give a name to the Itinerary (free-flow text, for example, AU-AU, AU-NZ, etc.), also here he can activate and deactivate a particular itinerary.
The ability to Disable matrix display for multi-destination fare search, both regular multi-destination search and oneway combinable multi-destination search is also there.
In this case, when the setting is enabled, both regular multi-destination search and oneway combinable multi-destination search results will be displayed in a regular view.
When the administrator set all those settings and clicks save, he will get the second part of this page named "Fare Family Display Management" where he can create Flexible Fare Families for this route that he has created previously, by clicking on the button "Create flexible fare family":

Once the option is selected, a "New Flexible Fare Family" wizard will be presented:

After specifying the Name, Color from the color palette, and a Description, proceed by selecting "New Flexible Fare Family Route":

A new wizard will open up:

Pick an airline for Fare family Rule type, it can be: Fare Basis, Class of service, Family name, or Passenger Type Codes
Airline Rule Name - You can define a rule name for example "Restricted", but here we can specify the name of that fare family that is actually in V Australia (Semi restricted for example), and on hover is search results this will be displayed.
Value - this is the value of Rule type TZGW* will return every flight that has a fare basis code that starts with "TZGW" and for example *TZGW for all fares whose fare basis code ends with TZGW.
When you click save you have finished the matrix display creation. The maximum number of fare family rules that can be created is five.

In the image above you can find an example of the custom matrix display with designated colors and naming for each fare.
The image presents the example where the "Zero/Basic" fare is selected and the previously specified fare information is presented below next to the "Select" button.
