Each traveling group can have an independent set of payment options that will be related to the travel group independently.

Subsequently, each member of the travel group can have a dedicated set of credit cards assigned to their profile.

To access payment options, please use the following path:

Corporate Site → Edit Travel Group → Payment Options on the left side:

The options that can be used range from creating payment options for each service to the ability to view and create corporate credit cards.

Note that by default, Thomalex Corporate Environment, once created, will not come with any payment options, and you will need to create a payment option for each service.

That can be done by clicking on the "Create Payment Options" tab. An example follows:

Each service will have different methods of payment available. Once the appropriate options for payment are selected, make sure to click on "Save" to add them.

Note that specifying all payment options for all services cannot be done at once. You will need to select the options for one service, click on "Save," and then repeat this process for each service to add and save them as payment options.

Once that is done, the payment options will be added and ready to be used by all members of the travel group you are editing.

Image No.4 Creating Payment Options

After selecting the "Create Payment Options" tab, the system will present the following options to be selected as the form of payment for booking flights:

Cash (Invoice)

By completing the reservation with Cash (Invoice) as the form of payment, passengers will not need to input any payment information.

Simply by selecting Cash (Invoice) as the form of payment before confirming the reservation, the booking will be created, and FOP Cash will be entered in the remark. The reservation will be debited through BSP or ARC.

The reservation can then be finalized and issued with the credit card information.

This form of payment is usually used for "Book on hold" reservations.

By specifying the Description and Custom Label, users can have a custom-named service along with the description next to its name in the shopping cart.

Note - Description and Custom Label are avalable to be specified for every form of payment under payment options.

Invoice

Similar to the Cash (Invoice) form of payment, but for corporate users, no payment information would be required to be input when confirming the reservation.

By selecting the Invoice form of payment, the appropriate remark would be inserted along with the FOP Cash remark.

Corporate Credit Card

Please refer to the article Corporate Credit Card for detailed guidelines on how you can create and manage Corporate Credit Cards.

Personal Credit Cards

The most common type of payment method that is created and enabled by default for both B2B and B2C users.

Simply by enabling the "Personal Cred Cards" as a payment option for a travel group all travelers or members of travel groups will have the ability to finalize the booking process by inputting the credit card details.

The supported credit cards are American Express, Discover, Diners, MasterCard, Visa, and UATP.

An example of a personal credit card being selected as a payment method before confirming a booking request is in the image below:

UATP Card (Universal Air Travel Plan)

UATP (Universal Air Travel Plan) is a credit card type owned by hundreds of merchants in the travel industry. Although some airlines do issue a UATP card, the UATP card from AirPlus is the one most generally used.

This requirement is for the Amadeus Corporate booking tool to support the UATP credit card type in the payment flow.

Virtual Credit Cards

The type of credit card that is being generated for a limited time.

In order to set up and enable virtual credit cards, access the Website Settings and enter the information given by the provider in the appropriate fields:

The available Virtual Credit Card providers are ConnexPay and ConfermaPay.

Payment Methods For Single Employee

Users can add a credit card for specific employees. Within travel groups, users can choose the Travel Group option and select any member of the group to predefine a credit card that the traveler can use when creating a booking.

The settings for this feature are located in the Manage Credit Card sheet. Therefore, the user must choose the member of the travel group from the List Employees section, and, while editing, they will be able to access the Manage Credit Card sheet. In this sheet, the user can add a new credit card for the selected member.

One credit card can be used by multiple members, not just one. When adding a credit card, it will appear in the list of credit cards for that member. Users can update or delete any credit card.

A credit card can only be added once for the same member. It is not possible to add a card with the same card number that already exists in the member's card list.

When a traveler attempts to make a booking, there will be an option to choose one credit card from a list of added credit cards available in the Manage Credit Card sheet.

If an employee selects the other credit card option, they will be presented with a list of credit cards specified for them. Therefore, an employee can choose the credit card they wish to use for paying their booking.

Note - If a traveler doesn not select the "other credit card" option this panel will not be visible in the shopping cart.
