Introduction
In this article, we will explain the functionality that calls flexible date search, how it works, and what are the benefits of using it.
What is a flexible date search?
This functionality allows you to search for flights +-3 days of the selected date. If the passenger is flexible with the departure date, this functionality allows you to find more affordable prices on some other close dates. Also, it allows you to find a departure time that suits to traveler more.
Setup
To activate flexible date search, please follow the next path:
Step 1: In Admin panel click on B2C Site →
Step 2: Click on Administration →
Step 3: Click on the Air Travel Settings →
Step 4: Find and enable Flexible date search

How to use it
When the flexible date search is enabled on the booking engine or the widget you will have an additional box to check for searching flexible dates:

On the the simple widget, the flexible dates will be visible in the right bottom corner:

If you are using the Expedia-like widget, the flexible dates box will appear after you open the advanced options:

When you select to search flights with flexible date search, you will have the option to choose how many days +- you want to search for:

After you perform a search you will get a calendar display with the search result. If there is no flight combination for some dates, the system will display Not available like in the screenshot below:

When you select the date that you want to travel, the system will search only for the dates that you selected:

NOTE: The flexible days calendar search showcases the lowest fare options for each date combination within a flexible day search window. However, due to the dynamic nature of airline pricing, the displayed fares might change for your selected travel dates.
